About Mifrasim
Mifrasim was founded in 2018 out of a deep love for the sea and a belief in its power to heal and bring about change. Mental health professionals and sailors came together to create a shared journey at sea – an experience that is immersive, challenging, and restorative.

Our Journeys
Our therapeutic sailing journeys offer a source of hope and strength, enabling individuals facing a wide range of life challenges to embark on a process of healing and personal growth.
Through teamwork, navigating the challenges of the sea, and engaging in open dialogue, participants rediscover their inner strength, develop a true sense of agency and personal resilience, and, in turn, become partners in forging stronger communities and a healthier society.
OUT AT SEA
Our voyages cater to diverse populations
Bereaved Families
Siblings and parents, partners and spouses, those newly bereaved and those who have lived with loss for years – they all find one another on deck. Different life circumstances and age gaps fade away, as the open sea fosters a connection at the most fundamental level, allowing the conversation to finally begin.
Active-duty soldeirs and reservists
Mifrasim helps combat teams process their experiences and the transition back to civilian life, alongside peers who understand. A voyage at sea provides a unique balance: the thrill and adrenaline of sailing on one hand, and a space for meditative stillness and reflection on the other.
Trauma survivors
Survivors of terror and civilians coping with trauma find safety and calm aboard our vessel. The maritime journey helps participants reconnect with their strengths and regain a sense of agency and belonging. The shared sailing experience builds both personal and community resilience.
