OUR BOATS

At sea, a boat is never just a vessel. In every culture, it is a partner, a shelter, a floating home that protects one even in stormy seas. So it is with Mifrasim: Our boats provide a safe haven for participants — a place that welcomes and holds them, far from routine and close to the heart. On deck, stories are shared, trust is built, and the boats silently safeguard those experiences

Yamreed

S/V Yamreed is a Challenge 67 yacht, one of its kind in Israel and originally built as a strong, swift and safe training vessel for sailing around the world.  At 67 feet and weighing 50 tons, it provides a uniquely challenging and empowering sailing experience for groups of up to 15, which blends hands-on seamanship training with an intimate setting for meaningful emotional dialogue. Each journey demands constant teamwork and cooperation among both passenger-participants and crew members

Love of Life

S/V Love of Life is an Oceanic 54 boat and the newest vessel in the Mifrasim fleet, joining us in April 2025 and set to be based in Haifa. Her name reflects our guiding principle: the belief in the human ability to grow despite hardship and to learn, once again, to love life. Together with the veteran Yamreed, she will expand our capacity and open the door for participants from northern Israel. Love of Life provides a warm, intimate space for a 12-person group, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to take an active part in sailing

Additional Vessels

In addition to Mifrasim’s two boats, our close partnerships with sailing clubs across Israel allow us to use other vessels when needed. This flexibility enables us to adapt to the changing needs of different groups in different locations
